Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve optimum turning control, by providing an antenna tuning circuit split into a plurality, and an operating circuit constrolling each frequency of a local oscillating circuit independently. CONSTITUTION:Antenna tuning coils 11, 12, 13 are split into three and they are switched with a band selecting switch 10. A local oscillation control code is operated at an operation circuit 28 according to the set frequency of a reception frequency set circuit 22. The result is made to a PWM wave at a digital signal generating circuit 16, a DC component is picked up at an LPF14 and given to a varactor 5. On the other hand, the antenna tuning band is discriminated at a band discriminating circuit 21 and switching is made to one of the turning coils 11, 12, 13. At the same time, the antenna turning control codeis operated at an operation circuit 19 and a control voltage is applied to a varactor 1. Thus, even if the intermediate frequency is sufficiently higher than the input signal frequency, optimum tuning control can be made.
