Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at shortening the time of detecting the center of steering angle, by arranging a circuit for providing a provisional center of steering angle in a steering angle center detecting circuit so that the provisional center of steering angle is set simultaneously with the turning-on of an electrical source in a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The output of a sensor 1 for detecting the center of steering angle is delivered to an integrating circuit 6 through a buffer amplifier 2 and a semi-conductor switch 3 when the swich 3 is turned-on. A terminal voltage charged in a condenser 5 in the integrating circuit 6 is transmitted to a terminal 8 through an amplifier 7. The aforementioned switch 3 is so arranged as to be turned-on when a vehicle speed sensor 9 detects a speed higher than a predetermined value. The input side of the aforementioned amplifier 7 is connected with a circuit 13 for providing the provisional center of steering angle, including a transistor 14, a condenser 15, a resistor 16 and etc. A voltage corresponding to the provisional center of steering angle is set in the condenser 5 by this circuit 13 when an electrical source in a vehicle is turned-on.
