Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform uniform welding with stabilization of the arc by controlling a switching circuit for pulse current by means of the difference between the signal of a welding voltage setting circuit and a welding voltage detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of a base electric power source 1 is applied to a wire 3 and the work 4, and a wire 3 is fed whereby the arc is generated. The set signal Es which is the output from a welding voltage setting circuit 31 and the detection signal Ed of a welding voltage detecting circuit 32 are inputted to a comparator 33, the difference whereof is inputted to a V/F conversion circuit. The conversion circuit outputs a pulse frequency signal Ef, and supplies the same to an MM circuit of a switching control circuit 40. The MM circuit outputs the prescribed pulse frequency range signal Eft to a switching circuit 22. The circuit 22 operates only during the period when the signal Eft is supplied, so that the pulse current of the peak value is supplied from a pulse electric power source 20 to welding load R. After lapse of a prescribed time until the next operation start, the circuit 22 is held interrupted, and only the base current Ib is supplied to the load R.
