Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a double function of both a rough control circuit and a fine control circuit, by applying different levels of the reference bias to the bases of the transistors of one side of plural pairs of differential amplifiers with the bases of the transistors of other side to which the voltage obtained at a mobile terminal is applied. CONSTITUTION:The voltage obtained at a mobile terminal 11 is applied to the bases of transistors (TR)Q2, Q4 and Q6 of one side of plural pairs of differential amplifiers. Then reference biases Va, Vb and Vc of different levels are applied to the bases of TRS Q1, Q3 and Q5 of the other side of those differential amplifiers. In such way, the control voltage which is capable of both the rough and fine controls can be produced at control terminals 14 and 14' of a gain control circuit 15 consisting of a differential amplifier including TRS Q10-Q14 based on the collector currents of the above-mentioned differential amplifiers. Furthermore this constitution has no contact and all circuit elements are suited to be easily formed into a semiconductor integrated circuit.
