Abstract
PURPOSE:To make electric currents, flowing through amplifying elements providing push-pull operation, similar to output electric current, by keeping the sum of the electric currents of the amplifying elements invariably constant in the output stage of an A-class complementary push-pull amplifier. CONSTITUTION:In case that out-of-phase signals are applied to input terminals 21 and 22, fluctuations of flowing current IN+IP, when emitter currents IN and IP of transistor TRs 23 and 24 fluctuate, are detected by detecting circuit 31. On the basis of the output of this circuit 31, bias voltages applied to elements 23 and 24 are brought under the control of bias setting circuit 33. Thus, the sum of electric currents flowing through elements 23 and 24 is held invariably constant and the electric currents through elements 23 and 24 can be made similar to the output current.
