Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the discharge volume of NOX to be reduced by providing a vacuum switch for opening a solenoid valve in a vacuum passage of a vacuum lead angle when the operating vacuum of an EGR valve is low, in a device for controlling the ignition time by actuating the vacuum lead angle device. CONSTITUTION:Vacuum pressure from a vacuum port 10 is directly applied into a vacuum operating chamber 7a in a low speed range in which a thermo-valve 14 is closed, a vehicle speed switch 17 is closed and a solenoid valve 13 is also closed after warming-up operation, and therefore, the opening degree of an EGR valve increases. At this stage, a solenoid valve 29 is closed due to contacts 30b in a vacuum switch 30 being opened, and therefore vacuum pressure from a vacuum port 23 is directly applied into a vacuum chamber 22 in a vacuum lead angle 22 so that lead angle is carried out. Then, the opening degree of the EGR valve 7 decreases during an intermediate or high speed range in which the vehicle speed switch 17 is closed and the solenoid valve is opened for communicating a vacuum passage 12 with an atmospheric port 16, and therefore, the contacts 30b of the vacuum switch 30 are closed for changing the position of the solenoid valve 29 into the atmospheric side, thereby the degree of the vacuum lead angle device 22 decreases.
