Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain an air fuel ratio control function even if a hot wire snap, by providing a switch means for supplying a signal processing circuit with alternative one of the output signals of a throttle valve opening degree detector and a hot-wire flow meter which finds out the intake quantity of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:An electronically-controlled fuel injector comprises a throttle valve opening degree detector 2 and a hot-wire flow meter 1 which functions as an intake quantity detection means. The output signals of the flow meter 1 and the detector 2 are alternatively applied to a signal processing circuit 7 through a switch 6. When the output level of the hot-wire flow meter 1 is abnormal, the output signal of the throttle valve opening degree detector 2 is applied to the signal processing circuit 7. For that reason, an air fuel ratio control function is maintained even if the hot-wire flow meter 1 becomes defective.
