Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent effectively mixture from being excessively rich when icing is built up by constituting the quantity of fuel injection to be corrected so as to be reduced by a set quantity upon detecting icing built up due to the drop in temperature by a detecting means at the place where a throttle value is installed.
CONSTITUTION: A throttle sensor 15 detecting the opening of a throttle valve, a revolving angle sensor 16 detecting the revolving speed of an engine, a water temperature sensor 18 detecting cooling water temperature and an intake air temperature sensor provided so as to input output signals from these sensors into an electronic control means 14. When it is judged that an engine is in a condition before warming-up, and furthermore, when the detected revolving speed of the engine becomes lower than a set idling speed in the aforesaid electronic control means 14, the judgement is formed that icing has been built up at the throttle value 4. And at the time of the judgement formed of icing, a control is performed in such a way that the quantity of fuel injection valve 13 is corrected so as to be reduced by a set quantity corresponding to the reduc tion in an air flow rate caused by the icing built up in an intake passage 2.
