Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the internal short-circuit caused by the expansion of a positive plate and improve the characteristics of a lead storage battery, by providing an elastic body with anti-electrolytic solution property between the lower end part of a plate group and the inside bottom part of the battery jar. CONSTITUTION:A plate group 1 is placed in a battery jar 2, into which a sulfuric acid electrolyte 6 solidified by very fine silicon dioxide is then introduced in order to constitute a lead storage battery.
