Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate a positive and a negative boosted voltage with simple constitution, by generating a positive and a negative high voltage with applying a battery voltage to a coil through alternately changing over the switching elements at both terminals of the coil. CONSTITUTION:When a control clock P is held at a high level through the flip-flop FF, and NOR and OR circuits NOR and OR of a control signal generating circuit 1, pnp and npn transistors (TR) T1 and T2 at both terminals of the coil L of a DC two-power-source generating circuit 2 turn on and the coil L is saturated and magnetized. As the clock P goes down to a low level, the TR T1 turns off to generate counter electromotive force, and a positive boosted voltage having a large peak value is generated by a diode D2, capacitor C2, etc., connected to the TR T2. Similarly, when the clock P goes down to the low level for the second time, a negative boosted voltage is devloped through the TRT1. Therefore, the simple constitution which does not require two boosting circuits generates the positive and negative boosted voltages required for various arithmetic of an electronic timepiece.
