Abstract
PURPOSE:To apply a ground potential to an SR line even when the secondary- side output voltage of a power device is cut off, by using a negative power source for the input side of the power source as that for a bias circuit in an SR level converting circuit which uses a transistor (TR) switch. CONSTITUTION:If the secondary-side output voltage of a power source 3 is cut off accidentally, a logical-level SR signal 2 outputted from a logical circuit 1 is ceased. Since a resistance dividing circuit 5 for bias supply is connected to the input-side negative power source -48V of the power source 3, the base voltage of a TR switch 6 drops below its emitter potential, so the TR switch 6 turns on to apply a ground potential to an SR signal transmitting terminal 7.
