Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and assembling steps of a heat exchanging apparatus, by integrally forming ridges for defining air passages on each outer circumferential part on each plane of heat exchanging plates with air inlet and outlet being remained, and laminating a plurality of such heat exchanging plates. CONSTITUTION:A countercurrent type heat exchanger body 1 comprises a plurality of first heat exchanging plates 2 and a plurality of second heat exchanging plates 3. The first heat exchange plate 2 is rectangular, and is formed to have integrally the first and the second ridges for defining air passages on the plane, that is, the outer circumferential parts on the upper surface with the rear side of the ridge being recessed. On the other hand, the second heat exchanging plate 3 is formed to have approximately the same size as the first heat exchanging plate 2, and to include the third and fourth ridges 3, 4 on the outer circumferential parts on the upper surface and located to correspond to the first and the second ridges. When the first and second heat exchanging plates 2, 3 are stacked, the primary and secondary air passages are formed.
