Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the supercharge pressure from rising and the engine from breaking with a simple construction by a method wherein during when the supercharge pressure is not lower than a set point, an ignition circuit is opened to stop all the ignitions. CONSTITUTION:When a key switch 3 is closed and the internal-combustion engine 1 is started, a contact 44 of a pressure switch 4 remain closed in a low revolution region because of the low supercharge pressure, and the ignition is performed at an ignition timing determined by the revolution speed or the like. On the other hand, when the supercharge pressure is raised abnormally to exceed the set point, a diaphragm 43 in the pressure switch 4 having a pressure passage 41 connected to the downstream side of a compressor for the supercharger is lifted against a spring 42, thereby opening the contact 44. Accordingly, a primary current for an ignition coil 7 is interrupted, so that all the ignitions conducted at ignition plugs 9 through a distributor 8 are stopped.
