Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent wear and tear of a relay or the like for controlling current running through glow plugs, by taking a long time for the cut-off of the relay after the completed explosion of the engine in comparison with the cut off before the completed explosion. CONSTITUTION:The cut-off time of a relay is controlled by t1 before the completed explosion of the diesel engine. After the completed explosion the cut-off time of the relay is t2 longer than t1, since the temperature of glow plugs after the completed explosion can be lower than that before the completed explosion. Actually, the cut-off time of the relay before the engine started is t1=3sec, while the cut-off time after the completed explosion is t2=8 thru. 10sec. Thereby, wear and tear of the relay is prevented, since the operational numbers of the relay is reduced.
