Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of channel selection, by providing resistances on cards which are installed in accordance with selecting positions and selecting channels by a digital signal which is formed in accordance with resistance values. CONSTITUTION:Cards 2a-2n where resistances Ra-Rn different in value for every channel are formed by printing or the like are provided correspondingly to key switches 3a-3n, and a capacitor 4 is provided which constitutes an integral network together with resistances Ra-Rn. When the key switch 3i is depressed, a position discriminating and pulse output circuit 8 detects that a position (i) is selected, and the pulse of a prescribed width is outputted from a terminal I. This pulse is integrated by the resistance Ri and the capacitor 4 and is applied to an A/D converter 5b only while the integral output is higher than the threshold voltage of an input circuit 5a. The digital output of the A/D converter 5b corresponds to the value of the resistance Ri, and a turning voltage generated in accordance with this output is applied to a tuner 11.
