Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a multiplying circuit which obtains a signal equivalent to the product of a DC signal level and a pulse signal frequency and is suited to a water heater, by using a 1-shot circuit and a differential amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A 1-shot circuit 1 includes a comparator OP1, resistances R1 and R2, a capacitor C1 plus diodes D1 and D2. The diode D1 is connected in series to the resistance R1, and this series matter carries out the charging/discharging of the capacitor C1 by the output signal of the comparator OP1. A differential amplifying circuit 2 contains a differential amplifier OP2, resistances R3-R6, diodes D3 and D4, capacitors C2 and C3 plus a variable resistor R7. A pulse signal of a prescribed frequency is supplied to the noninverse input terminal of the amplifier OP2 via a series matter of the resistance R3 and the capacitor C2 and in the form of the 1st multiplication input signal. At the same time, a DC signal of a prescribed level of voltage is supplied to the noninverse input terminal via the resistance R5 in the form of the 2nd multiplication input signal.
