Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the circuit usable even to an input signal which changes remarkably, by the automatic adjustment of a threshold voltage in accordance with the waveform of the input signal and/or the signal level. CONSTITUTION:An input signal VIN is applied to a + input of a comparator COM1, and the signal VIN is applied to a - input through a maximum voltage storage device consisting of a diode D1 and a capacitor C1 and a voltage divider consisting of resistors R1 and R2. The signal VIN is applied to a - input of a comparator COM2 and the signal VIN is applied to the + input through a minimum voltage storage device consisting of a diode D2 and a capacitor C2, and a voltage divider consisting of resistors R3 and R4. The output of the comparator COM1 is inputted to a set terminal S of a flip-flop F and the output of the COM2 is applied to a reset terminal of the flip-flop F, respectively.
