CONSTITUTION: A high-voltage electrode plate 7 is sandwiched between preheated dielectric strips 31 and 31. Both sides of the dielectric strips are welded by irradiating with laser beam 32, and at the same time, compressed gas is blasted through the nozzle 33 to round the welded ends. Since the dielectric material 6 manufactured by this process has excellent dimensional accuracy, the gap between the electrical discharge electrodes of the ozonizer can be made uniform, and consequently, the performance of the ozonizer can be improved.
