Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an oil pressure from falling down caused by a time lag, by providing a safety circuit to actuate an auxiliary pump, to the captioned equipment having two pumps, for ordinary use and for auxiliary use.
CONSTITUTION: The circuit (not shown) to operate a starter 13 and to directly operate a generator 12 and an auxiliary pump 11, by an open signal of a breaker 4 for the purchased electric power, to make up a shortage of the power generated by a generator 2, is provided to a hydraulc system of a steam turbogenerator. With such an arrangement, an auxiliary pump 11 can be started without a fall of frequency of a power supply caused by unequilibrium between the output and the load of a turbine 1, or without waiting for a time lag caused by a fall of an oil pressure, due to decrease of the number of revolution of a turbine 1. Accordingly, a fall of the pressure of control oil and a stoppage of generating plant can be prevented.
