Abstract
PURPOSE: To flexibly operate a power supply for a nuclear fussion reactor by increasing electric power supply amount via an external power system within allowable range of the external power supply system even when the power of an exclusive generator power supply is insufficient to continue the operation.
CONSTITUTION: DC electric power is supplied through rectifiers 6, 10 from a system 2 and a generator 7 to a loading coil 1. If the generator 7 is not interrupted but cannot maintain its output at predetermined value but is lowered at its output such as, for example, by 50%, the system power is immediately increased by suitable means to make the composite power to become 100% to thereby maintain the operation. When the allowable variation range exceeds the voltage and frequence drop at the power receiving system 2, disturbance occurs in the system 2. Accordingly, it immediately trip a breaker 3 to disconnect it.
