Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain ample volume of fuel draft by connecting the air inlet of a sub-air chamber to the float chamber of a carburetor and properly maintaing a differential pressure between the float chamber and a venturi even in a supercharged condition.
CONSTITUTION: An independent sub-air chamber 8 is fixed inside an air chamber 5 as one body, an air inlet 9 of the sub-air chamber 8 is connected to a supercharged air passage at the upper course side of the air chamber 5, and at the same time the air outlet of the sub-air chamber 8 is connected to a float chamber 6b. Total pressure in the sub-air chamber 8 is lessened by the volume of air released out of a throttle 13 of a through passage 12 and changed to dynamic pressure and it is higher than the static pressure in the air chamber 5. Therefore, reduced fuel draft volume can be adjusted to obtain air-fuel mixture of the optimum air fuel ratio.
