Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the conduction of leakage inspection for the airtightness with limited measuring errors by applying a vacuum setting for a test portion susceptible to temperature changes while applying a pressure setting for a test portion which is less susceptible thereto. CONSTITUTION:An N2 cylinder is provided for a pressurization tester 5 connected to a test portion 3 between double O rings 2 and 2 to supply pressurizing force thereto. An N2 gas is fed to a test portion 3 between the double O rings 2 and 2 to inspect the leakage level thereof with the tester 5. A vacuum tester 12 for inspecting a valve box section 4 provided in a cask body 1b is formed connectively to each valve box section 4. The valve box section 4 is made vacuum with a oil-filled vacuum pump 19 and the leakage level is inspected with the vacuum tester 12.
