Abstract
PURPOSE: To exactly execute an inspection by a simple device, by pressing down the opening of a bottle to be inspected, by use of a flat pad, making gas blow into the bottle from the air source of constant pressure, and ascertaining the quality of smoothness of the bottle opening in accordance with whether pressure attains to the tolerance of the prescribed pressure or not, in a fixed time after it has reached the set value.
CONSTITUTION: The opening of a bottle to be inspected 1 is pressed down by use of a flat pad 2, and air in the pressure tank 4, which has been maintained to constant pressure by the pressure gauge 5 is made to blow into the bottle 1 through the throttle 6 and the conduit 7. The quality of smoothness of the bottle opening is ascertained in accordance with whether pressure attains to between the tolerance limit pressure Pa and the saturation pressure Po or not, in a fixed time T after it has reached, for instance, the reference pressure Ph which has been set to 1/2, of the tolerance limit pressure Pa, measuring the pressure in the bottle 1 by the pressure detactor 8. Accordingly, the inspection can be executed exactly by a simple structure, and also its automation is made easily.
