CONSTITUTION:A press roller 3 supported pivotally by a lever 9, which is freely turned round the axial line parallel with a heat roller 2 supported pivotally in a fixed position, is energized in the direction where the press roller 3 is elastically compressed to the heat roller 2, and the lever 9 is linked to one end part of a shaking member 16 which is freely shaked round the axis parallel with rollers 2 and 3. The shaking member 16 is turned and energized in the direction for increment or relaxation of the compression force between both rollers, and a cam 21 is provided to shake the shaking member 16 against this turning and energizing force. The cam 21 is placed in a rotation position where the shaking member 16 is shaked in the direction for increment or relaxation of the compression force in accordance with the position of a copying paper 11 in the copying machine and the occurrence of paper jamming.
