Abstract

PURPOSE: To uniformalize the pressure contact between a friction plate and a paper-feeding roller in the direction of width by providing the friction member arranged on the lower surface of the paper-feeding roller in such a manner that it is shakable in the direction of the width of the roller.
CONSTITUTION: A friction member supporting plate 10 fitted with the friction member 6 is arranged at the opening part of a guide plate 4 so that they do not contact with each other, while the base end part of the supporting plate 10 is fixed to a bush 7a which is fitted in a member 7 and rotatable around an axis 7b. By this, the friction member 6 is pressed on the paper-feeding roller 5 by a spring (not shown in the figure) and simultaneously becomes capable of shaking in the direction of the width of the roller 5. Thus, the pressure contact turns to be uniform, whereby the feeding of leaf can be performed smoothly and such troubles as double feeding or jamming of paper caused by bending of paper sheets can also be prevented.
