Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a shift of track, by giving the level wave detection to pilot signals by a level wave detecting means and then comparing these levels with each other. CONSTITUTION:The video signal supplied from an input terminal 1 is supplied to an FM modulator 2 as well as to a synchronous signal separated by the circuit 3 is supplied to a phase comparator 4. When the head changeover pulse is supplied to a control circuit 9 from an input terminal 8, the circuit 9 switches the control signal and supplies to a divider 7. The output of a voltage control oscillator 6 is supplied to a mixer 10 in the form of a pilot signal to be mixed with an FM modulation signal through the mixer 10. This mixture signal is recorded on a magnetic tape 12 by a recording head 11.
