Abstract
PURPOSE:To capture a permanent loop surely when it generates in any part of programs and generate an interruption by providing a series of detecting means consisting of an address memory, a comparator, a loop counter, etc. CONSTITUTION:The respective outputs of an address register 16 accessing a program memory 14 are written into an address memory 32, and the read output of the memory 32 and the output of the register 16 are compared in a comparator 34. The read addresses of the memory 32 are controlled by a control circuit 36, and at every generation of the coincidence output by a comparator 38, it is counted with a loop counter 40, and when the count values attains a prescribed value, a permanent loop detection output is produced. Or further, a distance counter 42, is provided to count the non-coincidence outputs of the comparator 38, and is reset by the coincidence output. When the count value attains a prescribed value, the counter 40 is reset.
