Abstract

PURPOSE: To save power by slidingly rotating a shaft in axial direction by a motor drive reduction gear for automated start, stop and reset, in a main stop valve of a steam turbine, etc.
CONSTITUTION: When a turbine is tripped while a valve is open, a spring 16 moves a trip piston 15 downward, a lever 8 and stoppers 9 and 10 rotate and a shaft 24 moves rightward together with them, whereby the valve is quickly closed. For automatic resetting, pressure oil is sent to a trip oil cylinder 6 and a piston 15 alone is lifted at first, and then a motor is rotated toward a valve opening direction, a bush 11 and the shaft 24 are moved leftward and a pin 7 and the lever 8 are pushed up by a spring 16a when gabs of the stoppers 9 and 10 come up to a gab groove 11a, thereby the stoppers 9 and 10 are rotated. After that, the motor can be rotated toward a valve opening direction to continue usual operation.
