Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the fire-damage of a generator thrst bearing and obtain an effective operation-controlling system for waterwheels and pump waterwheels.
CONSTITUTION: As to a hydraulic power plant equipped with a main shaft 1, oil box 2, generator thrust bearing 3, and an oil lifter 4, when main-engine stopping instruction is transmitted, having the oil lifter 4 inoperative, then the oil always compressed flows into a control valves 10 through a solenoid valve 26 and a transfer valve 8, due to the loss of compressed oil in a compressed oil pipe 6, and an ouxiliary servo-motor piston 15 is moved down (closing operation) by the upward movement of a plunger 11. By the downward movement of the piston 15, a secondary pressure distributing valve main valve 20 is moved downward through a lever 16 and a plunger 18, and the piston 24 of a guide-vane servo-motor 23 performs closing operation, and the plunger 18 is returned to a neutral position through a restoring mechanism 25, cam 7, and a rod 12
