Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent excessive cooling which occurs resulting from a sharp change in a rotation speed of a coolant compressor for car cooler and the like, by a method wherein a self-control operation is performed such that a part of compressed high- pressure fluid is caused to return to a low-pressure side through the automatic opening operation of a valve at a high-speed operating time.
CONSTITUTION: When a rotor 1 turns at a high-speed, a centrifugal force, which is proportioned to the square of a rotation speed, is exerted upon a steel ball 17, and the centrifugal force pushes up the steel ball 17 against a spring 16 to open fine holes 11d and 12d. As a result, a part of high-pressure fluid in a high-pressure vane chamber 9 returns to a low-pressure vane chamber 10. As noted above, a device performs a self-control operation such that the high-speed rotation of the rotor 1 causes an automatic opening of a valve and returning of a part of the compressed high-pressure fluid to a low-pressure side. This permits the prevention of excessive cooling in case a device, such as coolant compressors for car cooler, causes a sharp change in the number of revolutions.
