Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare salted laver, by applying an edible oil to heat-treated laver, attaching table salt to the layer of the edible oil, and toasting the product.
CONSTITUTION: Laver 2 is toasted in a heat-treatment chamber 3, and passed under the roller 4 dripped with an edible oil to form a layer 21 of the edible oil to the surface. The edible oil is pref. sesame oil; however, butter, margarine, etc. may be used. Table salt is sprinkled from the vibration sieve 5 to the surface of the laver, and the product is toasted in the heat-treatment chamber 6 at 200W 500°C for about 15sec, cut with a cutter 7, and finished.
