Abstract
PURPOSE: To make constitution simple and make transverse space as small as possible by incorporating the constitution approximate to ordinary die sets which do not perform powder transfer in a withdrawal type powder molding device.
CONSTITUTION: Powder 19 is packed in a floating die 9 (stage A), and male dies 23, 27 are lowered until an inner punch 27 abuts on the powder 19 (stage B). When the male dies descend further, an inner punch 14 is forced by the powder and the powder is slightly compressed to receive transfer effect so that it is shifted into the die 9 (stage D). Next, an actuator 10 forces the punch 14 upward and the punch 27 retreats against an outer punch 23 until the punch 23 abuts on the powder, then the punches 23, 27 descend integrally, thereby compressing the powder 19 (stage D). During this time, the outr punch 17 forces rubber 16 downward and abuts on the top surface of a base plate 3. Next, the descending of the male dies is stopped, and the die 9 is lowered (stage E), and when the male dies are moved upward after said stoppage, a product 28 is removed by the punch 17 which is moved upward by the elastic force of the rubber 16.
