Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the cycle time and dispense with the overturning prevention apparatus, by installing a sliding portion, which is provided with a hole that can accommodate the axial portion of the product, inside the press mold and by making the ejector and the upper mold movable by interlocking operation.
CONSTITUTION: The axial portion of a work 5 is inserted into the penetration hole 4 of the sliding portion 2 which slides up and down inside the press metallic mold 1. Next, when the upper mold 6 is caused to descend, the work 5, while being held by the sliding portion 2, descends together with the ejector, and when the bottom dead center is reached, the head of the work is pressed into a product having a desired shape. When the upper mold 6 is then caused to climb, the ejector 3 also climbs to push up the sliding portion 2, thereby making it possible to take out the product freely.
