Abstract
PURPOSE:To continue a process immediately after the recovery of the power supply, by constituting both a means to totalize and store the input data and a job number storing means with a nonvolatile memory and accordingly realizing the automatic setting of an input mode. CONSTITUTION:An input data storing/totalizing memory 12, a job number storing memory 13 and a restart memory 14 are constituted by a nonvolatile memory respectively. When the power supply is recovered after an interruption, a power supply input signal 19 is set at 1. As a result, an AND gate 18 is closed owing to the fact that the bit increases for the memory 14 that is presently executing a job as well as with the job number. Thus a signal is delivered to an input mode setting circuit 7. Then the input mode which is so far active is set automatically based on the contents of the memory 13.
