Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the irregularity in the input characteristics of an integrated circuit due to the variation in the reference voltage by individually providing different reference voltage supply lines in the input and internal circuits on a semiconductor chip. CONSTITUTION:On a semiconductor chip 1, are provided separate reference voltage supply lines 31, 32 for supplying reference voltages from reference voltage supply terminal 2 to the input circuits A and internal circuits B of a semiconductor integrated circuit having input circuits A1-A10 for converting an input signal from out of the chip into an internal signal and internal circuits B1-B8 which do not pass signals from the exterior of the chip directly. In this manner, the current flowing through the reference voltage supply line connected to the input circuits A can be remarkably reduced and the variation in the reference voltage due to the position can be eliminated, thereby obviating the irregularity of input characteristics.
