Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an electrostatic recording method in which a toner image is formed by spraying the toner to the recording paper set on a back electrode, by injecting the electric charge to a toner chain formed from a recording electrode toward the back electrode with application of voltage to the recording electrode. CONSTITUTION:The volume is controlled by a doctor blade 7 for the conductive magnetic toner discharged from a hopper 6. This toner is held on the surface of a magnetic roll 3 and carried to be attracted under a recording electrode 4 by the magnetic force. Meanwhile a toner chain 8 is formed. When the voltage 13 is applied between a back electrode 10 and the electrode 4, the electric charge of the polarity opposite to the electrode 10 is injected to the tip of the chain 8. Then the toner is sprayed on the recording paper 9 against the restraint of the magnetic force. In such a way, a high-quality picture is formed with a simple constitution.
