Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the dust in the exhaust gas flowing in the flue from being accumulated in the flue and as well as facilitate the removal of the dust by a method wherein an air slide section is formed at the diametrically expanded part toward downstream in the flue, to the final end of which a dust dischage port is connected.
CONSTITUTION: The divergent tube part 1A, which is diametrically divergent toward downstream, is formed at the right place in the flue 1. The air slide consisting of a canvas 2 and an air duct 3 is arranged at the part corresponding to the bottom wall of the divergent tube part 1A, to the final end in the downstream of which the dust discharge part 8 is connected. The air duct 3 is connected with an air supply pipe 7 led from a compressor 6 driven by a motor 5. The sedimentation of the dust within the exhaust gas is accelerated with the slowdown of the exhaust gas flowing in the flue 1 caused by entering in the divergent tube part 1A and accumulated on the canvas 2. The compressor 2 is put into operation at intervals of the set time and supplys the air to the duct 3 to float the dust on the canvas 2. The floating dust slides on the canvas 2 down to the dust discharge part 8.
