Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a tantentially entering type dust collector which is less in pressure loss and of high efficiency by providing a specific shape of nozzles in body and recirculating a part of dust-containing gas in the body into the body through cyclone.
CONSTITUTION: The inside of the dust collector body 1 is provided with the first nozzles 3 and 6 whose inside diameters become smaller from the entering side toward the outlet side and also the second nozzles 5 and 7 whose inside diameters become larger. The dust collecting chambers 4 and 8 are formed between the both nozzles and the wall of the body 1 and the take-out pipes 12 and 13 are provided in the collecting chambers 4 and 8, through which dust-containing gas is taken out by suction and then dedusted by the cyclone 14. Then, the gas so treated is sent back to the body 1 in the form of a swirl air stream through the fan 16. The dust-containing gas coming in a swirl stream from the inlet pipe 2 is dedusted by the cyclone 14 and at the same time forced to flow along the inner wall of the body 1 by being increased its swirling speed by returned gas and discharged from the outlet pipe 11, thus ensuring effective dust collecting performance.
