Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to separate and recover a powder in a gas in reduced power by inertia force and gravity by a method wherein powder containing air is introdued into a dust collector and rasied while revolved as well as reversed therein.
CONSTITUTION: The powder containing air from a grinder is introduced into a cylinder 12 from an inlet wind pipe 14. During a time when said air is flowed through a guide flow passage 15 and reached to a discharge space 19, a centrifugal force is acted on the powder in air and the powder is approached to an inner wall 12a. The powder which is pressed to the inner wall 12a and reached to the discharge space 19 is dropped along an inner wall part 13a by inertia force and gravity and discharged from a discharge port 24 of the discharge par 13. Air reached to the discharge space 19 is reversed at an idle end part 17a of a guide member 17 and entered into an inside space 16 from an opening part 20 and sucked and discharged from an outlet wind pipe 21 through a duct by a fan. In this time, the powder contained in air is dropped in the discharge space 19 by inertia force and gravity or collided to an inner wall part 13b and dropped to be discharged from the discharge port 24.
