Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently and easily collect minute liquid mist produced from the plating liquid, by giving a circular motion to the waste gas with the spiral projection installed at the inner wall of exhaust duct.
CONSTITUTION: When the plating liquid is condensed while the mist contained in the waste gas is being removed, the air which has become highly humid by taking moisture from plating liquid 2, is sent to mist removing device 9 through exhaust duct 8. Since spiral projection 10 is continuously installed at the inner wall of duct of this mist removing device 9, a circular motion is given to the air supplied from atmospheric air condenser 6 and the mist contained in the air is stuck to the wall. The stuck mist comes up along projection 10 together with the ascending air and does not flow out. The mist grown at the wall is collected by receiving tank 11 and taken out through outlet 12. With such mechanism, the mist removing capacity is not lowered even when the device is continuoulsy operated for a long time.
