Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A high-strength aluminum material is forged to manufacture a lower bearing 21 which has an oil groove channel 23 on the thrust bearing surface 22 of the bearing and has a journal bearing surface 24. The oil channel 23 is made by the forging in a short period of time to improve the working property of the bearing. Only a portion D of the bearing, which is shown in a figure, is machined. This results in greatly reducing the number of machined sections and decreasing the production cost.
