Abstract

PURPOSE:To induce shearing stresses in both of upper and lower portions of the rolled material, so as to reduce the yield stress on purpose to reduce the rolling load, by changing the quantity or constituent of the lubricating oil supplied to upper and lower surfaces of the rolled material, so as to change the friction factor between the rolled material and each of upper and lower rolls.
