Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve wear resistance and fatigue resistance by forming a sliding bearing by pressing a back metal of a steel plate on an aluminum alloy which is made of Zn, Si, Pb or In and the rest of Al. CONSTITUTION:A sliding bearing is formed by pressing a back metal of a steel plate on an alloy which is made of Zn 0.5-8.0wt%, Si below 0.05-2wt% and Pb or In 0.1-5.0wt%, while assigning Al as the substantial remainder. Proper lubrication resulting from the Zn, wear resistance from hard substance of the Si, fatigue resistance from the interacting effect of them and fitness and seizure resistance from the Pb, In are improved.
