Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the mixed air from becomming excessively thick at warming up by connecting the second air bleed which is opened only at warming up with a fuel passage of an engine which is supplied with rather thick mixed air.
CONSTITUTION: A main nozzle 17 which opens into a venturi part 18 of a carburetor 6 is connected to a float chmber which is not indicated in the figure through a fuel passage 12. The first air bleed 20 which is connected to the upper part of the venturi 18 and the second air bleed 13 which has a bimetal valve 27 at its top are connected with the passage 12. Then, the valve 27 detects the temperature of a cooling water passage 33 and supplys air to the fuel passage 12 by being opened below the set temperature. Furthermore, in an exhaust system 3 of an engine 1, the secondary air is fed through a lead valve 32, and also, a purifier 11 is provided in an exhaust pipe 10.
