Abstract

PURPOSE: To decide the goodness or not of magnetic flux density and iron loss with a stator alone by providing an excitation winding of 1 turn and a detection winding of 1 turn, and multiplying excitation current and magnetic flux density thereby detecting the iron loss.
CONSTITUTION: An excitation winding of 1 turn and a detection winding of 1 turn are provided to a specimen stator. The intensity of the magnetic field obtained from shunt and the magnetic flux density obtained from a detecting electrode pass preamplifiers 18, 19, respectively. The former is straightly inputted to the current input of an electric power multiplier 21, and the latter via an integrator 20 to the voltage input of the electric power multiplier 21. The output W of the multiplier 21 is the iron loss of the specimen stator and after it is converted with an A/D converter 22, it is compared and decided with a standard iron loss value in a digital comparator 23, whereby a defect signal 24 is obtained. The magnetic flux passes an integrator 20, and an AC/DC converter 25, is converted in an A/D converter 26 and is finally compared and decided with the standard magnetic flux value in a digital comparator 27, whereby a defect signal 28 is obtained.
