CONSTITUTION:When large electric current to be measured flows in a conductor 4, the magnetic flux by said current is generated in an iron core 1, and a Hall element 3 provided to the magnetic path thereof generates an output 6. An electric power source device 5 inputted with this output 6 flows electric current to a winding 2 in the direction of negating the magnetic flux by the current flowing in the conductor 4 and stops operating when the output of the element 3 goes zero. The large current of the conductor is measured from the value of an ammeter 7 of this time and the number of turns of the winding. Thereby, the saturation of the iron core is obviated and the iron core is made into small size construction.
