Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure the transformation rate of a steel material which is a material to be measured with a magnetic flux detector with good accuracy by providing a magnetic field generator which transmits magnetic flux on one side and the magnetic flux detector which detects leaking magnetic flux on the other, with said steel material in-between.
CONSTITUTION: The transformation rate measuring apparatus of steel materials consists of a material to be measured 1, a magnetic pole 2 for magnetic field generation provided on the back side of the material 1, a magnetic coil 3 wound on the magnetic pole 2, an excitor for the purpose of operating a magnetic field generator consisting of the magnetic pole 2 and magnetic coil 3, etc. When electric current flows in the coil 3 by the excitor, a magnetic flux 5 is generated from the magnetic pole 2. The magnetic flux 5 divides to the magnetic flux 51 passing the inside of the material 1 and the magnetic flux 52 leaking to the outside. The intensity of the magnetic flux 52 is detected with the detector 6. The leaking magnetic flux changes with the transformation rate of the material 1, and therefore if the leaking magnetic flux detected signal is subjected to required correction, the transformation rate may be obtained with good accuracy.
