Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform high-precision operation without offset adjustment, etc., by performing operation between input currents by making use of the relation between a current flowing through a transistor and its base-emitter voltage and by arranging transistors, through which the current flows, on the same substrate with characteristics uniformed. CONSTITUTION:The collector of diode-connected transistor TRQ1 is connected to current input terminal IX, the base of TRQ2 is connected to the emitter of this TRQ1, and the collector and emitter of TRQ2 are connected to current input terminal IY and a common terminal respectively. Further, TRQ3 is connected to the base of TRQ1 and current input terminal IC is connected to the collector of TRQ3, whose emitter is connected to the base of TRQ4; the emitter and collector of TRQ4 are connected to current output terminal Iout and the common terminal, and to the emitters of TRs Q1 and Q3, variable current sources S1 and S2 are connected respectively. Then, operation between input currents is performed by making use of the relations between currents flowing through TRs Q1-Q3 and their base-emitter voltages and while the offset adjustment is made unnecessary, the high-precision operation is carried out.
