Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a high accuracy of a converter, by applying input voltage and reference voltage to the bases of an input-side transistor (TR), respectively, in a pair of TRs connected in the inverted Darlington form. CONSTITUTION:Input voltage VIN and reference voltage Vref are applied to the bases of input-side TRs Q1, Q3, respectively, among TRs Q1, Q2 and Q3 and Q4 connected in the inverted Darlington form, and diodes D1, D2 are provided between the base and the emitter of the output side TRs Q2, Q4, respectively. When an emitter area ratio of these diodes and TRs is set, for instance, to 1:10, a current distribution ratio of TRs Q1, Q2 and TRs Q3, Q4 can be set to 1:10, therefore, a base current of the input-side TRs Q1, Q3 can be made very small, and high input impedance. Furthermore, since the greater part of a signal current formed by a resistance R1 flows through the TRQ4, VIN and Vref are transmitted to the resistance R1, and an output current IOUT having a high accuracy is obtained.
