Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a linear conversion between the voltage and the current, by inserting a current Miller circuit into a feedback circuit of a differential input operational amplifier and then flowing the current having no relation with the voltage between the base and the emitter of a transistor to an input resistance. CONSTITUTION:A negative input terminal of a differential input operational amplifier (amplifier) 6 is connected to an input terminal IN and a current Miller 7 via a resistance 5 of resistance value R, and the earth potential is connected to a positive input terminal. The output terminal of the amplifier 6 is connected to the other end of the Miller 7 to form a feedback circuit of the amplifier 6. With application of the positive signal voltage V to the terminal IN, a feedback is applied to set the voltage between two input terminals at 0. Thus the output of the amplifier 6 becomes negative to the earth potential by the voltage VBE between the base and the emitter of a transistor (TR) 8. Accordingly the current of flowing to the resistance 5 becomes V/R, and the samd current V/R flows to the TRs 8 and 9. As a result, an accurate voltage-current conversion is possible to flow the current proportional to the input voltage V to an output terminal OUT.
